A small studio that designs and builds

Sabal & Stone started in 2012 with one idea: the people who design a garden should be the people who build it.

Elena Marsh spent her early career drawing gardens for other people to build, and watched good designs get lost in translation on site. In 2012 she started Sabal & Stone in Palm Beach Gardens to close that gap: one studio, one crew, one set of drawings from start to finish.

Tiago joined to lead construction, Rosa to choose and care for the plants, and Marcus to design the lighting and water. We stay small on purpose, so every project gets the people whose names are on it.
