Free website accessibility scan
A quick automated check of one page for common accessibility problems, like images without alt text or form fields without labels. Plain results, honest limits.
Automated checks only. They catch some common problems, not all of them. This is not a legal compliance test, a certification or legal advice, and passing it doesn't mean a site is accessible or meets the ADA or WCAG.
How it works
- You give us the address of one page, like your home page.
- Our server reads that page once, as it's sent (without running JavaScript), and runs 15 automatic checks.
- You see what passed, what didn't, examples from your page and what to fix, plus a list of things only a person can check.
What it can't tell you
- Automated tools catch only part of the possible accessibility problems. Many need a person to judge.
- We read one page and don't run its JavaScript, so menus and content added by scripts aren't checked.
- This isn't legal advice or a compliance certificate. For legal questions about the ADA or other laws, talk to a lawyer.
- We keep the results for 30 days at a private link. No account, no tracking cookie.
Still check these by hand
- Use the whole page with only the keyboard (Tab, Enter, Esc)
- You can always see where the keyboard focus is
- Text has enough contrast against its background
- Videos have captions
- Error messages on forms say what went wrong and how to fix it
- Try a screen reader (VoiceOver on Mac and iPhone, NVDA on Windows)
